Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G Price in Nepal and Availability
Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G Price in Nepal and Availability: Redmi Note 14 Pro Pricing and Availability in Nepal starting from NPR 39,999 for the variant having 8GB +256GB, and the higher 12GB and 512GB is available at the cost of NPR 44,999. Available to purchase through Hukut Store.
One thing a little confusing is that there are several variants of this phone. We are looking at the global version, but there’s also a different one for China and India with a 50MP main cam and a bigger battery.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G looks to build upon what we liked about last year’s Note 13 Pro 5G mainly with a new and more durable design.
The phone is thin, featuring a shock-absorbing internal structure, which Xiaomi claims provides better drop resistance because accidents happen. Add to that IP68 and even IP69 ingress protection against water submersion in some markets, which is nice compared to last year’s mere splash-proofing.
On the aesthetics side, Xiaomi’s gone with something curvy and elegant without anything too flashy. You can either get a vegan leather or a plastic backing, and we have the plastic one here with a matte silky finish. Both the back and the front curve into a thin plastic frame.

Redmi Note 14 Review
Display
The display of the phone is a 6.67-inch OLED with a 1220p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This time around, it’s protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Sharp it is at 446 PPI, and there is support for 12-bit color depth. You also get support for the HDR10+ and Dolby Vision video standards.
The max brightness of this display isn’t quite as high as the 13 Pro’s, but it’s still plenty. We measured a maximum of about 530 nits when using the manual slider, and this was able to boost to over 1130 nits in auto mode. As far as refresh rate behavior goes, you get a smooth 120Hz for your swiping and scrolling, and this can dial down to 60Hz when you stop interacting with the screen to save energy.
Audio
Audio-wise, the Redmi Note 14 Pro has a pair of stereo speakers. They did pretty well in terms of loudness and the quality of the sound was quite great at that too; great-sounding vocals, nice highs, a bit of bass. Unlike last year’s model, there is no headphone jack here.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro comes with an under-display optical fingerprint reader, with which you can wake up and unlock the device. It is fast and reliable.
Another interesting thing on the Redmi Note 14 Pro is that it has an IR blaster for controlling other devices. Depending on the market, the phone will pack 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB inboard storage, which cannot be expanded by a microSD card.
Software/Operating System
The interface of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is Xiaomi’s Hyper OS 1.04 running on top of Android 14. This actually isn’t the company’s latest UI, and regarding software support, Xiaomi promises at least three years of OS updates to the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.
Xiaomi has kept pretty similar look and feel of its software interface for generations, so if you’ve used a Xiaomi or Poco phone recently, you should feel right at home. You can find out more about the Hyper OS on our article here
Performance
At the heart of the phone sits not a Qualcomm chipset like last year, but a MediaTek one: the Dimensity 7300 Ultra. In benchmarks, both CPU and GPU scores are good for their class – you get solid everyday performance and 5G connectivity, and light gaming runs smooth too; however, this isn’t the best chipset if you want to play demanding games.
Thermal management is excellent here with basically no throttling at all, as one might expect from a mid-tier phone without a power-hungry chipset. Its predecessor wasn’t exactly stellar in terms of battery life, and we were curious whether Xiaomi could do better this time around.
Battery Capacity
The battery capacity hasn’t changed, but the battery life is indeed better, although not quite above average. The Redmi Note 14 Pro lasted for an active-use score of 11 hours and 39 minutes in our tests. Unlike last year’s model, which supported 67W fast charging, the Note 14 Pro only does 45W.
At least the charger still comes bundled with the phone. With it we were able to charge from 0 to 63% in half an hour and a full charge took an hour and 4 minutes.
Camera
The Global Redmi Note 14 Pro retains the exact camera setup on its rear as on the predecessor – 200MP main cam, 8MP ultra-wide cam and 2MP macro cam.
By default, the main cam shoots 12.5MP photos due to pixel binning. Quality during the day is pretty good: colors are nice and natural, the contrast is good, dynamic range .
There is a lot of sharpening, yet the photos are not terribly sharp, so we’re not exactly fans of the processing of fine detail when examined up close. Still, at fit-to-screen magnification, the photos are well-balanced with good exposure and colors. When shooting people, skin tones are not our favorite, and skin texture looks a bit unnatural.
Portrait mode photos are more of the same but at least the background blur is convincing and looks good, especially at two times. The two times zoom shots from the main camera look good, at least much better than those from the POCO X7’s 50MP camera.
They bear many of the same positive aspects as their regular one-time shots. However, if you look closer you can tell these photos have way more noise in the low-light images.
There is a night mode that can pop on automatically: with it – photos turn out excellent. Detail’s plenty; there’s zero noise, wonderful color saturation, and dynamic range of view is high too.
But an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter on this Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G does not please at all for a reason of such hardware kind. The detail and contrast are subpar; at least the colors are fine. Come nighttime, things remain unremarkable with the ultra-wide camera.
Photos are soft, with poor contrast. At least color saturation is fine and dynamic range is pretty good. Close-up photos from the 2MP macro camera are quite poor. There’s plenty of noise and softness, and it’s hard to get anything in good focus.
For selfies, there’s a 20MP front-facing cam. It does alright with okay detail, but facial features come out looking a bit soft. For video capture, there’s support for 4K resolution from the main camera and 1080p from the ultra-wide.
The main cam’s 4K daylight videos are very nice: they have good detail, accurate colors, wide dynamic range, and good contrast. The ultra-wide cam’s 1080p videos are just decent with saturated colors and okay contrast and dynamic range.
In low light, the 4K video quality from the main camera is excellent. There’s a good balance between detail, sharpness, and noise reduction. The dynamic range is adequate, and the colors are true to life.
The main cam is stabilized very well to counteract the shake from your hands. But for anything more demanding, such as walking shake, the system is not up to the task, though it’s not as bad as the POCO X7.
Conclusion
So that’s the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. It’s a solid mid-ranger all around, bringing back the screen and the cameras of the previous model and adding to that a more durable and water-resistant build. There are a few things that aren’t exactly upgrades, though.
You lose the headphone jack, and the charging is slower. The chipset and battery life are just ever so slightly improved compared to last year’s, and they’re still just average for a mid-ranger. But still, for the money, there’s a lot to like here. If you’re shopping around in this class of phones, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is worth looking into
